Littlestown, PA is located in Adams County just north of the PA—MD border, located about 50 miles from Harrisburg, PA and 40 miles from Baltimore, MD. Littlestown is a growing community with a solid American heritage and promising future. We are only 10 miles from the battlefields of Gettysburg. Over 1.5 million visitors pass through our area each year. We believe God has strategically located LCA here for His kingdom’s advancement.

Founded by Peter Klein (Little) in 1765, our community was known as “Kleina Stedtle.” The name was changed to Petersburg, but eventually returned to the English name Little’s Town. It is the oldest community in Adams County. It was incorporated as a borough in the Adam’s County Court in 1864 having 305 inhabitants.

Littlestown still holds its rural American charm. With a population around 4000, the community is friendly and welcoming. New homes are springing up in and around the borough so there are constantly new neighbors to get to know. LCA is happy to be a part of this community. Though we draw families from six different school districts in four different counties located in Pennsylvania and Maryland, we are happy to bear the name of Littlestown and are committed to taking an active role in the success of our community. Whether a family is in Littlestown or nearby, LCA is committed to teaching our students the importance of community and our responsibility to be active citizens.

LCA is a strong supporter over our community. We are a member of the Littlestown Area Chamber of Commerce and our administrator serves on the Chamber Board of Directors.
